For some ludicrous reason, every time we've done a seasonal table, it's been for winter. I meant to get the spring table done for the equinox last week, but with this, that, and the other, we didn't get around to it. We did it today while our friend Jack was here. Aleks made the sun and he and I picked out the items to go in it. I think it's very festive. Very springy.
I particularly like the rabbit, which is actually the evil man-eating rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. We gave him a carrot though.

I love that rabbit!
We have yet to switch ours over from winter. Although i did take out the white silk and right now it has some spring things that were sort of unintentional, so I guess we're not too far behind:)
I love it! It's got to be the best spring nature table ever. Might have to add an evil man-eating rabbit to ours. :)
Boooo no Spring here yet. Well, the snow is melting at a snail's pace and it's getting dark at 9:00, but no real Spring yet to speak of. We're in our "fourth" season - breakup. It's squishy. Our nature table is in an in between stage as I don't want silt/mud/snow/dog poop on it (the symbols of breakup).
Breakup doesn't have to look muddy on the table. Just pretend Alaska looks like everywhere else. :D
We've put some old dead plants we found underneath the snow on it, a dead cow parsnip, a dead birch branch...
Hahahhhaha
ah, the killer bunny nature table, that's brilliant.
