That's a big reason I hesitate to pick up stuff these days. The boys are constantly going back and forth and if I pick things up, then it's like "out of sight, out of mind". I just try to clean around the stuff:)
That's why we do an end-of-day pickup and pickups when we're leaving. Otherwise, mostly stuff gets left where it is because you never know when it's going to be needed again (and when you might get yelled at for misplacing something!).
