Impromtu Hike

I was just running errands after an orthodontist appointment, forcing poor Aleks to hang with me while we stopped at the store and to buy crickets and at an (awesome) garage sale, and finally dropping off the funds owed for summer camp at the nature center. Aleks, who typically tells me how much he hates Shaker Lakes when I suggest we go, decided it was time to go for a walk. This despite my totally wrong shoes, need to get home so someone could watch Bastian when Natty dropped him off, and lack of desire for more mosquito bites. Ah well. He tried to fish, as usual. I need to set up a fishing trip for him soon.
