Day 20's activity is still in the works, so we'll be skipping that post until it gets completed, if that happens.
For Day Twenty-One, we had the very last City Fresh of the year and thus spent the day rushing about, helping Heather get to work after her car broke down, picking up items for dipping in melted chocolate at a later date, getting fresh crickets for Esteban, attending speech therapy, then heading downtown to help set up the onions, sweet potatoes, squash, cabbage, carrots, and massive Seussian-looking stalks of kale (my very favorite vegetable). Afterward, we headed home, our trunk laden with veggies for us, for Heather, for the neighbor, and for the volunteer who forgot to pick up her share. Papa was waiting for us with the day's activity.
YUM!
