Lego Guy Assembly Line

Aleks made a Lego guy assembly line complete with heads, torsos, hands, legs, hats, and weapons. He then assembled various Lego guys. As did Bastian.

Ha! This totally looks like something my boys would do! It would be fun to meet up sometime this spring/summer so they could all play together. :)

Oh, this is such a familiar sight. It used to stress me out that they were always removing their heads, their hair, and the hands, I mean, those tiny little hands, they were all over the house, and I was afraid they'd lose them all forever or never be able to reunite the original guys. But now I see how much fun they have creating their own "guys," and I guess I'm so used to seeing all of them in pieces that it seems like there is no other way to play with them. We recently got ourselves a box with a bunch of dividers in it so we could sort out all the parts (like a bead box or crafters box)...so heads in one compartment, torsos in another, legs, hands, hair, head gear, etc. They spend hours poring over the options and making guys. I'll have to send you a photo. I think your kids would love this too...

My kids reject organization, Rachel. lol They dump and pour through.

That's funny, your children reject organization, when you are an actually organized person, whereas my children embrace it, and I myself am not naturally organized...it's lots of work on my part! :)

lol - That is funny! It's something like my kids don't need it at all because I provide it all the time, to a fault. So they're able to pick and choose when to line things up or separate everything by color, which happens now and then, but only on their terms. And, they're out to destroy me by making messes. They're trying to rebel the best way they know how!
