We do this every year, usually on December 1st. It's the first way we get into winter and the holidays. The kids still haven't mastered cutting folded up shapes too well, so mostly they played on Make-a-flake. I held Bastian in my lap and we made a bunch of flakes together and Aleks cursed at his, trying to get through all the layers. Then we made some paper chains, taped everything together, and I hung it up in the dining room.

Those are really lovely. We've got stars hanging from our ceiling, glitter everywhere. Love. It.
