Needing to go to the grocery, and running behind on having time to do much else, I decided to put Aleks in charge of grocery shopping. He was down with it. He had a list, which Natty helped him read, his bags, the cart (which he pushed Bastian around in), and our card to pay with. He got a bit distracted when we had to get the bulk items and otherwise yelled at everyone for getting things not on the list.
All in all, it was a tremendous success, even if he couldn't read my handwriting and had to rely on Natty for help to distinguish my chicken scratch.
