Nothing tremendously special was planned for Friday's Lego Club (now affectionately referred to as one of our
Unschooling Co-op Days). We brought cookies that quickly disappeared and the kids ran amok doing the things that kids do: playing with Lego, listening to music, my boys playing with their Penguin and Alien and silly putty Piddy Peddy had brought them for a going away present that morning.
Later, Mari pulled out these geometric tiles which we all had a lot of fun arranging and rearranging, pretending to be quilters and stained-glass makers and mathematicians. My sun-flower:
